Our Veal is sourced from English farms in the Shire counties. We feel it is important to support these producers making a market for quality English Veal working alongside our strong dairy industries - as meat eaters we feel we should all be utilising more Veal in our weekly meals. It is lean, tender, flavoursome and the colour is a darker pink, indicating that it has had a better life under much higher welfare standards than anything that is imported from the EU. (Please note that in order to support these farms and ensure we stock a range of English Veal products we buy in fresh cuts and freeze once prepared. Therefore some of our products here may be supplied frozen.)
